Malai cake recipe
1 cup maida, 1 cup castor sugar, 1 cup thick malai,
2 eggs, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence, tuti fruti 1/ 2 cup
Sieve the maida and baking powder together twice and keep aside.
Mix malai, sugar and 2 egg yolks together in the mixer (yes the mixie).
Whisk it nicely till sugar dissolves completely and its now of pouring consistency.
Whisk the egg whites to form peaks and add vanilla essence.
Now fold in the maida to the mixture along with the whisked egg whites add half tutti fruti. And half on the top of batter in loaf pan.
Pour into a greased and dusted pan and bake it at 180 degrees for 25 to 30 mins. Check the cake if done as usual if not done maybe more 10 mins depending on how much is
Cool completely and then remove on wire rack.
