Vanilla Swiss rolls

​Simple Soft & fluffy vanilla Swiss roll 😊
Cake recipe:


Egg white 5

Egg yolk 5

Sugar 5+ 5 tbs

1/2 cup cake flour ( if you don’t have cake flour just take half a cup of all purpose flour and remove 1 tbs of flour and replace with 1 tbs cornflour)

Melted butter 3 tbs

Vanilla extract 1 tsp

Preheat oven at 375 deg F
Grease and Line a tray with parchment paper.
Seperate 5 eggs white and yolk.
Beat egg white with a pinch of salt until frothy. Add 5 tablespoons of sugar and beat.
Add 5 tablespoons of sugar and vanilla to egg yolk and beat. 

Add cake flour half a cup and mix it well. 

Add 3 tablespoons of melted butter and a teaspoon of vanilla extract.  

Add the egg white slowly in 3 parts. Fold nicely and do not deflate the batter.

Pour the batter evenly in the baking tray and bake for 15 mins.

Remove the tray and let it cool down completely.

Spread icing evenly and roll it.

Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
For the filling I used whipped cream. You can chose any type of filling you like. Jam or buttercream or whipped cream with fruits etc
