2 cups of Rice Flour
A bunch of Suva/ Dill Leaves
One small onion (chopped)
1 carrot (Grated)
½ cup Grated coconut
Handfull of curry leaves (chopped finely)
1 spoon zeera
1 inch grated Ginger
Chopped green chilles (I added 2 you can add as per your taste)
Mix everything in a bowl and make a dough by adding in Lukewarm water, add little water at a time and made a soft dough of the mixture. Rest the dough for 20 minutes
To Roll the roti’s
Take butter paper place it on the kitchen counter, not make a ball out of the dough and add a bit of oil to it and place it on the butter paper and press a bit. Now take another sheet and keep it over the ball. Roll it slowly with the rolling pin, keep rotating the paper and roll it round. Make sure you don’t give too much pressure, just roll it slowly and equally. Remove the top cover and put the roti on the tawa, slowly remove the other paper from the top.
Add oil to it and cook it till you see red spots on it. Do not overcook it or else it might become hard.
Serve with chutney, I like it with pickle
