Keema kababs

2 LBS beef cubes or mutton keema( as per choice)
300 grams(approx) Chana daal
Boil them together with
One medium size onion
Half garlic
1 inch ginger
2 badi ilaichi
2 spoon sauf/ fennel seeds
2 spoon whole dhania
1 spoon whole cumin seeds
3/4 spoon whole black pepper
Half spoon whole cloves
6-7 whole red chillies
1/2 inch cinnamon(optional)
1/4tsp ground javetri
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

4-5 bay leaves

Boil all the above till it’s well done, I do not use water and try to pressure cook in low to medium heat for around 20-25 minutes depending on the quality of pressure cooker you are using.

After its pressure cooked take out the bay leaves in it and grind the batter till its in the dough form, add one egg and in the kabab dough and knead to mix and it’s done at this point.
If you want to make shami kabab then just add
Finely Chopped
cilantro
Green chillies
1 inch ginger
1 and 1/2 onion
In the dough n fry in pan with very little oil.
